A liberal by the name of Rachel Jennings wrote that the pro-life person giving this logic-based argument needs to take a course in philosophy.
Philosophy.
I don’t usually laugh out loud when reading liberals’ inanities, but this time I am (although I admit it’s just a chuckle).
Philosophy…
What the fucking hell are you talking about? Who the hell told you that philosophy as a whole is subjective? There are some subjects of philosophy that some will argue are subjective: ethics and existentialism are good examples of this. However, even in those subjects, there are those who argue that the study is an objective one.
If you want to rip on philosophy, at least know what it is first.
I get the feeling that he thinks philosophy is just a bullshit degree hippies get. Not, you know, the study of human thought and reason. Philosophy is a complex field, and it has applications in law, economics, business, and politics to name a few. Hence, why people get that degree in the first place.
Also, philosophy relies on logic, rational arguments, and, at times, OBJECTIVITY…what exactly is subjective about that?
…but, you know, it’s just hippie-talk.
Everyone is flipping shits about who might be cast as Finnick (I say Meryl Streep, you know she could do it), and all I want out of Catching Fire is for it to stay somewhat true to the book and keep Katniss awesome and focus more on the rebellion she un-wittingly started, and her personal turmoil over whether or not she even wants to be a part of it…instead of focusing on her “love story” with Peeta. The Hunger Games is so much more interesting than a love story.
Also, Gale > Peeta.
That is all, now back to pictures of cats and Community gifs.
